He understands the importance of happy, healthy horses and uses this as an underlying principle in all aspects of his work. This can be proven with the great success of past graduates in all disciplines ranging from Dressage through to Racing.
In 1993 David first visited Japan on a school trip, immediately felt a connection and made a promise to himself he would find a way to return. With hard work David secured a contract in 2006 at a high profile horse farm in Hokkaido – which he still has and fulfils every year.
Since then, he has seen the horse landscape of Japan change and grow – and is excited to be a part of the evolution of the sport.
Managing his own and client’s horses for this amount of time, David has learnt the importance of using the correct service professionals.
He now has a network of professionals around the world which he has the utmost trust in and a proven personal track record.
David is also a Judge in Working Equitation – a sport that originated in Spain and Portugal – it puts practical elements into Dressage. He enjoys introducing this sport and coaching all levels.

In 2008 Jonathan graduated from Hartpury College. During the three years of his degree he was able to gain an extensive range of knowledge, not only in the developing field of equine dentistry but also the other aspects of equine industry.
Whilst also attending Hartpury he enrolled in further courses at the Academy of Equine Dentistry in Idaho, USA. The Academy draws on the expertise of equine dental technicians and veterinary surgeons from around the world to provide its students with both theoretical and practical tuition of the highest standard.
Jonathan is dedicated to continued education and is a regular contributor to the ‘Horse Dentistry and Bitting Journal’ which has a worldwide readership. He is also regularly featured in ‘Your Horse’ Magazine, answering readers questions on all aspects of Equine dentistry, as well as being a former editor of the ‘British Association of Equine Dental Technician’s journal’.
His practice has 2 busy offices in Britain and Australia.
