Training

IHS has the expertise, experience, and personnel to enhance the efficiency and success of your career or equine business.

Staff Training

Every stable operates in its own distinctive manner. As staff trainers, our responsibility is not to disrupt the established system, but to ensure that the practices are safe for both the horse and handler, as well as being efficient and productive. Frequently, minor adjustments can reduce downtime caused by injuries or disruptive behavior from the horses.

Investing in staff training can significantly boost overall profit margins by fostering a team of confident employees who deliver quicker results and enhance the performance of the horses.

Horse Problem Solving

Occasionally, a stable may encounter a horse that presents some challenges. The team at IHS possesses the skills and experience required to work with such horses. Following an initial evaluation, we can outline the appropriate course of action and the estimated time involved. Throughout the retraining period, we will collaborate with the horse’s primary handler to ensure they are equipped to manage the horse confidently into the future.

Rider Instruction

Drawing on my background as a seasoned breaker and educator of young horses, I possess a deep understanding of equine learning and cognition, which I incorporate into my training methods. Many of the riders I encounter are already impressive, but with this additional insight, they can gain an advantage to achieve greater success in competitions.

Starting / Breaking In

Having been the regular breaker of successful Grand Prix Dressage riders and breeders of first-class Warmbloods, I take pride in producing horses that not only ride well, but know how to learn and are ready to take on new information.

IHS is fully equipped to support both a small stable of horses and a large-scale commercial breeding program.
